Jubilee Weekend, on the 4th June: It has been suggested that we should dress up, Red, White and Blue is the theme and fly an Ensign to help brighten up the estuary in celebration. I think we will give a bootle of Bubbly to the Yawl crew that looks the most celebratory.

SYC Jubilee Events

This is the plan, it will no-doubt change, but it gives you a flavour of what is coming for this special weekend. Jools at SYC is working hard at trying to make the weekend as eventful and enjoyable as possible.

• Saturday
• BBQ @ 3 pm on Saturday after racing at SYC for all sailors and spectators
• SYOA Chairmans Drinks – Beer and Pimms with Canape’s, time TBA, when we are ready!
• Followed by Jubilee themed buffet dinner with street party style long tables, bunting and coronation chicken salads etc.Tickets £12.50

· Sunday

• THE BIG BBQ in line with the national BIG JUBLIEE LUNCH from 12.30pm open to allSYC club member.
• Monday

• 3pm – Prize Giving followed by Paella Party with music. Cliff House has a Hog Roast in the evening with Nick the Fish playing at about 7pm for an hour then gospel singers on Cliff House’s new patio at 8.30pm. Followed by the lighting of the Town Beacon and then fireworks.

One boat forgot to bring a mizzen, there wear some last minuet masts going up in the boat park.
