Hi All

I would like your thoughts on the purchase of these digital scales.

Also any input our other surgestuns.

It dose seem a much simpler solution! we don’t need a crane or a tractor. Also kinder to the Yawl no slings.

The principle, get you trailer weighed first then push boat and taller on, Job Done.

I believe other clubs and classes are using them.

Thank you

Andrew

Just an update on the above – I believe it was £1200, rather than £1500, but this was a few months ago when I did the research.

I appreciate it is a fair amount of money but a system like this would allow an ‘annual weigh in’ for our ‘championships’ to ensure we all stay nice and legal…

This is a bit from an email from Anthony who did some homework

This is what lead me to Mikes system – as it is used by the Merlins it will be within RYA accreditation specifications – which I would suggest is something we should be mindful of being RYA governed.
