Sea Races as below on Saturday 24th

Today:              Sundowner Race  Handicap start at 17.00hrs

Friday : 23^rd   Sundowner Race  Handicap start at 17.00hrs

Saturday 24^th : Sea Races as below

 

Subject to there being sufficient wind, but not too much wind; my intention is to run Bucket and Spade Races 4 & 5, back to back in the range.

 

The races shall be windward – leeward; using the SYC Orange pillar buoys;

start between committee boat and leeward mark;

finish between committee boat and leeward mark (unless shortened);

marks to port;

number of laps to be displayed on a board on the committee boat;

2^nd race ASAP after 1^st race finish.

 

I understand from Jules encyclical that the 1^st start is advertised for 12.00; so I propose the following sequence;

 

11.55 First warning signal

12.00 Cadet/Juniors Start

12.10 Handicap Start

12.20 Yawls Start

 

If we are to race at sea; flag C will be flying from the Watch House at around 11.00 AM (as will most likely be a lifejacket flag).
